Hi y'all! The name's Brittany. Some refer to me as Britt, One-who-laughs-a-lot, or Your Majesty, but feel free to call me what you wish. (Nice names only, of course.)

A few things you may (or may not) want to know about me:

The hubs and I got married on June 16, 2012 (Babe, here's another reminder.) Together we are the proud parents of a well behaved beautiful golden retriever named Coy. As of now, he gets all of our love and [most of] our attention. He will probably be the subject of most of my posts until other things in my life come along, so you will get to know him quickly.

I am a fourth grade teacher. Indeed it is a very rewarding career, but a very stressful one as well. The hubs is in politics. That's all I want to say about that.

On to other news..


I have debated whether or not I wanted to start a blog for quite sometime now. I have become obsessed with reading other blogs and my memory is AWFUL, so I decided that this would be a fun approach to help me document my life. This blog will be just that. I am excited to cross my heart and hope to try while I learn the ends and outs of this thing called life.

 I have no clue what I am doing, so don't judge and stay awhile! :)
